MUNOZ SAYS IT IS THE TIME OF YEAR TO CONSIDER RICCI’S LAW

As New Jerseyans begin celebrating the holidays and anticipate ringing in the New Year, Assemblywoman Nancy Munoz, R-Essex, Union, Morris and Somerset, said that it is also the time of year when some people forget their responsibility not to drink and drive, which unfortunately results in devastating circumstances for families. Munoz said that December’s designation as National Drunk and Drugged Driving Month is a reminder that New Jersey’s Legislature must still act on Ricci’s Law, which would require the use of ignition interlock devices for those who have committed a drunken driving offense.
