RUMANA: TOWNS MUST HAVE FLEXIBILITY TO DO MORE WITH LESS

Towns that have lost state aid would be allowed to reduce by an equal percentage the expenditures necessary to comply with state mandates to make sure property taxpayers are not doubly burdened by a loss of state aid and expensive mandates from Trenton, under legislation introduced this summer by Assemblyman Scott T. Rumana.
